Jahrider - I'm no expert when it comes to belts, but seems to me the last thing you would want on your belt is something sticky to pick up dirt/debris/sand, etc. A chain has open holes between the links the sprocket can push stuff from, but the belt pulley doesn't so it in effect is captured in the pulley. I want mine dry slick and smooth. If anyone out there in Savageland thinks i'm off base here in my thinking, i'm willing to keep an open mind about it.
